Paralympic Swimming Champion
Oleksandr is a Ukrainian Paralympic champion, coach, and social activist dedicated to advancing inclusive sports. At the 2024 Paralympic Games, he won Ukraine’s first gold medal and set a new Paralympic record in the 100-meter freestyle in the S5 category. Oleksandr is also well known for his work with young athletes, having created a program to teach children with disabilities how to swim. His dream is to build an inclusive sports community where every child, regardless of physical ability, has the support to develop and achieve their goals in sports.
