Oleksandr is a Ukrainian musician, songwriter, and the founder of the bands Tartak, Buv’ye, Ol.Iv.’Ye, and, since 2020, a solo artist. His music has always reflected current events and addressed important social issues. Tartak emerged in the 1990s — during the formative years of the Ukrainian music scene — and became one of the symbols of domestic hip-hop and rock music. He supports the protection of Ukrainian culture and resistance to Russification. Since February 2022, he has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is currently working on a new album,. The sudden loss of many loved ones taught me to, whenever possible, pay more attention to the people who are still in my life.

I'm motivated not so much by famous personalities, but by the people close to me. As well as the daily heroism of ordinary people — both on the front lines and behind them.

I try to be honest with myself and with others. I try not to betray my own life principles.

To me, success means being able to do what you love, to gain moral satisfaction from it, and to earn enough income.
