Maria is a teacher of Ukrainian and world literature who is dedicated to reviving Ukrainian traditions and cultural heritage. She organizes festivals, workshops, and charitable projects, and teaches traditional crafts such as pysanka decorating, pottery, and embroidery. Maria also founded the ethno-house “Teterova Khata,” which serves as both a museum and a cultural hub. In addition, she promotes Ukrainian culture through an ethno blog, leads the fashion theater “Krali,” and directs the amateur song theater “Liubystok.” Instagram

I feel inspired when I see the results of past efforts and reflect on the journey I've taken.

Every person I meet shapes me as an individual. But my greatest influence comes from my students.

The most valuable quality in people, to me, is sincerity. I appreciate those who speak the truth, even when it's hard, who don’t hide behind masks, who can see the world through someone else’s eyes.

The bravest choice I’ve made is to be myself when it would’ve been easier to become someone more convenient.

No matter how dark it gets — no one can take away the light within me unless I give it away.

I know how to see the light in people, and if it fades, I try to help bring it back.
