Fedir works in the field of radiation oncology, cryomedicine, neuroprotection and immunorehabilitation. His work encompasses clinical practice, biomedical research, teaching, and the development of interdisciplinary projects. He is the author of over 300 scientific publications, 10 monographs, and 6patents. A recipient of the Verkhovna Rada Award and winner of the “The Best Scientist of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” competition, he considers his main mission to be the integration of science and practice for the advancement of Ukrainian medicine. I always strive to see not just an individual symptom or experimental result, but the entire network of connections – from cellular mechanisms to clinical manifestations and societal impact.

For me, as a physician and a scientist, the greatest value lies in the fact that there is always room for the sincere pursuit of new knowledge – for any task can become a research discovery.

In working with others, it is important for me to build an atmosphere of trust and responsibility, where everyone feels that their contribution matters.

Self-discipline helps me accomplish what I have planned, even when it’s difficult or I feel exhausted.

I dream of leaving behind not just a memory, but a legacy that will shape the future: ideas, approaches, and tools that will continue to advance medicine and science.
