Human Rights Defender, the head of the Center for Civil Liberties, which won Nobel Peace Prize
The Ukrainian human rights defender is a laureate of the Vasyl Stus, Sakharov “For Freedom of Thought” and “Defender of Democracy” awards, as well as the winner of the “Courageous Woman” award of the US Embassy. In 2022, Oleksandra’s Center for Civil Liberties won the first Nobel Peace Prize in the history of Ukraine. And in 2022, Oleksandra entered the list of the 100 most influential people on the planet according to the version of the magazine “Time”!
Oleksandra is the co-founder of the Center for Civil Liberties. During the Revolution of Dignity, this public organization launched the “legal barricade of the Maidan” – the “Euromaidan-SOS” initiative, which protected activists who were persecuted by the authorities. Twitter
