Professor, Founder of the SUMEYÅ Research Center
Roman is a professor at Sumy State University and a specialist in clinical pathology. He has 60 peer-reviewed publications in Scopus, 680 citations, and an H-index of 12. As a co-founder of the Ukrainian-Swedish research center SUMEO, Roman focuses on medical and translational research. He is collaborating with Umeå University and Professor Thomas Boren on a vaccine against Helicobacter pylori, which could significantly impact the treatment of stomach diseases and reduce antibiotic resistance. His projects center on translational medicine, the development of new biomaterials.
