Film director, screenwriter, author of poems and prose
Marisya's two feature films were selected and presented at Class A international film festivals. "When the Trees Fall" premiered at the Berlinale in 2018, and "Lucky Girl" (known as "I, Nina" in Ukrainian distribution) was in the main competition program of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Marisya also wrote the screenplay for the film "Homeward" directed by Nariman Aliev, which was showcased at Cannes in 2019. The director dreams of creating world-class war cinema, for which she is gathering interviews with our military.
