Kateryna has been involved in research and science promotion for over 20 years. She has been involved in a wide range of research projects, from studying bacteria in Chornobyl to introducing innovations in agriculture. A special place in Kateryna's activities is occupied by the dissemination of scientific knowledge about radiation and radiation safety among the civilian population. She has published hundreds of commentaries, dozens of lectures, seminars, and interviews, and co-authored the book The Terrible, the Beautiful, and the Ugly in Chornobyl.
