Kateryna has been involved in research and science promotion for over 20 years. She has been involved in a wide range of research projects, from studying bacteria in Chornobyl to introducing innovations in agriculture. A special place in Kateryna's activities is occupied by the dissemination of scientific knowledge about radiation and radiation safety among the civilian population. She has published hundreds of commentaries, dozens of lectures, seminars, and interviews, and co-authored the book The Terrible, the Beautiful, and the Ugly in Chornobyl.

It is difficult to find anywhere else as interesting and eager to learn about the environment as in science.

Science is a very interesting way to live your life.

Reading is not a duty, but a joy and pleasure.

Do not be afraid and do not be indifferent. Dream big, try different things and look for your own. Learn, learn a lot, be ready to learn all your life.

I would like to meet the first woman President of Ukraine. I hope it will be in the near future, where I will live.

I am sure that science and the expertise of scientists should be represented as much as possible in the public space.

To jump high, you need something to start from.

Be careful with pedants and people without a sense of humour.

Since 24 February 2022, when the whole world started talking about the threat of nuclear weapons and the consequences of the occupation of nuclear power plants, my team and I had to become the voice of Chornobyl.
