Lesia is the initiator of the establishment of Vyshyvanka Day, a holiday celebrated every year in May by Ukrainians and foreigners in solidarity with Ukraine in more than 100 countries around the world. A home is measured not only by food, clothes, and sleep. The previous generation of Ukrainians put in a lot of effort so that we could remain here, on our land.

We are undergoing another trial with the same enemy, but the difference is that during the Soviet occupation, we didn't have an independent state at all. It's one thing to defend Ukraine now and quite another during the gloom of the Soviet era.

Envy drains your energy, and you lose all your potential by watching or envying others.

People indifferent to Ukraine or life here are, first and foremost, indifferent to themselves. It's doubtful one can be happy and fulfilled while having such an attitude towards the society in which they live.

The literary works from school were selected in such a way that Ukrainians appeared defeated. The school curriculum did not instill the idea of Ukrainians as a successful, highly developed nation.

War is existential nothingness.

I hope we become the generation that once and for all destroys the Russian empire of evil.

The enemy has always tried to disorient us in our values: "wearing an embroidered shirt does not make you Ukrainian," "speaking Ukrainian does not make you Ukrainian."

You need to be accountable for yourself. Complaining is not a solution. Politicians are the end result of our actions; we choose them.

To become successful and change the world, you don't need to go anywhere. You can do it at home and set an example for both Ukrainians and foreigners.

In Ukraine, you are at home and can loudly claim what and from whom you want. But first and foremost – from yourself.
